TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS 

1. Eligibility for Refund or Exchange

When requesting a refund or exchange for a product purchased through our ecommerce retail site, please ensure that the following criteria are met:

  • The product must be in its original, unopened condition.

  • The product packaging must be intact and undamaged.

  • Products that have been personalized, customized, or altered may not be eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Please review our product refund policy for more detailed information regarding eligibility criteria and the return or exchange process. If you have any questions or concerns about the eligibility of a product for a refund or exchange, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team for assistance.

2. No Refund (APPLICABLE FOR PERSONALISATION PRODUCTS)

Due to the unique nature of our custom-made orders, all pieces offered through our website are non-refundable under any circumstances. All sales are final, and no exceptions will be made. 

3. Timeframe for Refund or Exchange Requests

Refunds or exchanges for products can only be requested within 7 days from the date of purchase. It is important to initiate the refund or exchange request within this timeframe to ensure eligibility for a refund or exchange. Requests made after the 7-day period may not be accepted.

4. Mistaken Purchases

We understand that mistakes can happen during the purchasing process. In circumstances where an extra or different product is purchased by mistake, we want to clarify our policy:

a. Misplacement or Replacement: Birdies Fore Danny will not be accountable for the misplacement or replacement of a product purchased in error.

b. Delivery Responsibility: Birdies Fore Danny is not responsible for the delivery of a mistakenly purchased product to the Buyer. It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of their order before finalising the purchase.

5. Change of Mind 

a) Custom-Made Products: 

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for custom-made products. Due to the personalised nature of these items, all sales are final.

b) All products (excluding products deemed as ineligible):

  • Exchanges can only be made on full price items.

  • You may exchange the item within 7 days of the purchase date.

  • The item must be unworn and unopened from its original packaging.

  • The exchange is subject to product availability.

  • Any additional costs associated with the exchange, such as shipping or price differences, will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • Items returned for a change of mind must be in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.

We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of all returned items; and this may result in items not being accepted for return or exchange, 

6. Faulty Items

We strive to provide high-quality products, but we understand that occasionally issues may arise. If you receive a faulty item, we are here to assist you:

a) Reporting a Faulty Item:

Please contact our customer service team at birdiesforedanny@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the faulty item.

Provide a detailed description and, if possible, attach clear photographs illustrating the fault.

b) Assessment and Resolution:

Our team will assess the reported fault to determine the most appropriate solution.

This may involve a refund, replacement, or repair.

c) Return Process:

If a return is deemed necessary, we will provide instructions for the return process, including any shipping labels or instructions.

d) Refund, Replacement, or Repair:

The resolution for faulty items will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Options may include a refund, replacement, or repair, depending on the nature of the fault and the availability of the product.

Where an item is damaged through misuse, neglect, or abnormal use, we will not provide a refund, exchange or repair.

7. Return Shipping Cost

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping unless the item is deemed faulty.

  • For non-faulty items: The customer must arrange and pay for the return shipping, ensuring the item is securely packaged and shipped with a tracking number to avoid loss or damage during transit.

  • For faulty items: If the item is determined to be faulty after assessment, Birdies Fore Danny will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse the return shipping costs.

Please retain proof of postage for all returns, as we are not liable for items lost or damaged during transit.

8. Processing Time for Refunds

Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 14 business days from the date the returned item is received and inspected.

  • For refunds: The amount will be credited back to the original payment method or issued as store credit (based on your selection) within this timeframe.

  • For exchanges: Once the returned item is approved, the replacement item will be shipped within 14 business days, subject to availability.

Customers will receive a confirmation email once the refund or exchange process is completed. If you have not received your refund or exchange within the stated timeframe, please contact our customer service team at birdiesforedanny@gmail.com.

9. Conditions for Refunds in Case of Promotions

Products purchased during sales or at a discounted price are final sale and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.

  • This includes items bought during promotional events, clearance sales, or with discount codes.

  • Exceptions may apply if the item is deemed faulty, in which case the standard policy for faulty items will apply.

10. Refund Method

When processing refunds, we offer the following options for reimbursement:

  • Refunds may be issued through the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Alternatively, customers may choose to receive refunds in the form of store credit, which can be used for future purchases on our ecommerce retail site.

It is important to note that any restocking fees or deductions applicable to the refunded amount will be clearly communicated to customers prior to processing the refund. Restocking fees or deductions may vary depending on the specific product and the circumstances of the return.
